Meet The Author John Berg Yogindravandana Dasa
In 1972, John became an initiated disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). From that moment on, his life took a purposeful turn. His career was devoted to serving and administering ISKCON temples across Louisiana and Mississippi, where he guided others in spiritual practice and temple life. Now semi-retired, John continues to write, teach, and support elder disciples, helping them navigate their later years with dignity and devotion. With compassion and humility, he remains committed to sharing the timeless science of Krishna Consciousness, inspiring others to find peace, meaning, and connection through faith.

COMMUNITY WORK
& SERVICE
Community has always been at the center of the journey. Whether through faith, teaching, or simply showing up for others, service creates the bonds that carry us forward. This book reflects on those values, how giving back shapes character, strengthens resilience, and builds connection. From supporting others in times of need to sharing wisdom that inspires growth, the heart of the story lies in remembering that life has greater meaning when we live for more than ourselves.
"Fix your mind on Me, be devoted to Me, sacrifice to Me, and prostrate yourself before Me. You shall come to Me alone, truly so by dedicating yourself to Me."
– Bhagavad Gita 9.34
